Meet the Team

Hello, I’m Kien, a physiotherapist with a passion for helping people live pain-free and perform at their best. Originally from Hong Kong, I moved to Australia to complete my Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at the University of Queensland in 2016. Since then, I've worked across a wide range of clinical settings including private clinics, hospitals, and aged care facilities, gaining a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of the human body.

In 2023, I decided to combine my clinical expertise with my passion for health and wellness by founding Clover Physiotherapy and Wellness. My goal is to offer personalized care that helps you not only recover from injuries but also prevent them, improving your overall quality of life.

My Special Interests in Physiotherapy:
-
Spinal Conditions: Whether it's back pain, neck pain, or headaches, I specialize in diagnosing and treating a variety of spinal issues that can limit your daily activities or sports performance.
-
Sports Injuries: As an avid runner and swimmer myself, I understand the unique challenges these sports pose. I offer expert treatment and injury prevention strategies for runners and swimmers at all levels.
-
Preventative Wellness: I believe in a proactive approach to health. By focusing on preventative care and wellness, I help my clients stay strong, active, and injury-free for the long term.

Approach to Wellness
I take a holistic approach to physiotherapy, combining hands-on treatment with education, exercise, and lifestyle changes to help you achieve your goals. I focus not just on alleviating symptoms, but on addressing the underlying causes of pain and dysfunction. Whether you're recovering from an injury or looking to prevent one, I will work closely with you to design a plan that’s tailored to your unique needs.

Passion for Sports
As a passionate runner and swimmer, I understand how frustrating it can be to deal with injuries that hold you back. Over the years, I’ve completed several half marathons, triathlons, and obstacle course events like True Grit, which has given me invaluable insights into sports injuries and the best ways to prevent them. I’m dedicated to helping athletes and active individuals return to their sport with confidence and strength.

Fun Fact:
Before becoming a physiotherapist, I had the unique experience of working at Disneyland, Hong Kong—bringing a little magic to people’s lives, even before I helped them with their physical health!

I also speaks fluent Mandarin and Cantonese.

Hi, I’m Vivian, the Practice Manager at Clover Physiotherapy and Wellness. I’m responsible for making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, from managing appointments to coordinating with our team. With experience in customer service, sales, and public sector, I’m dedicated to creating a positive and organized experience for our clients.

My Background:
Before joining Clover, I worked in retail, where I refined my customer service skills. I also served as a Development Support Officer in the public sector, where I navigate complex systems and provide essential support to internal and external stakeholders. These experiences have shaped my client-centered approach to managing the clinic.

Passion for Pilates & Wellness:
Outside of work, I’m passionate about Pilates, which has helped me improve my strength, flexibility, and overall health. I enjoy encouraging others to incorporate mindful movement into their wellness routines.

Personal Interests:
When I’m not at the clinic, you’ll find me enjoying a cup of coffee, exploring new places, or indulging in spicy food (the hotter, the better!). I believe in balancing hard work with enjoying life’s little pleasures.

Fun Fact:
Despite being Chinese, I have a bit of a surprising twist—I’m not a fan of rice and I don’t really use chopsticks!

As Practice Manager, I’m here to ensure that your experience at Clover is smooth and enjoyable. Whether you need help with bookings, understanding our services, or have any questions, I’m always happy to assist.

Say hello to our paw-some Client Experience Officer, Meow Meow! While she may not have formal physiotherapy qualifications, her warm presence and people-friendly demeanor make her an essential part of the Clover Physiotherapy and Wellness team.
With her cute and curious nature, Meow Meow is here to ensure you feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment you walk through our doors. Whether it’s offering a purr of encouragement or simply sitting by your side during your recovery, she’s always ready to brighten your day and make your experience a little more enjoyable.

Meow Meow's Role:
As the Client Experience Officer, Meow Meow takes her job very seriously—she’s committed to making sure every client feels at home. You’ll often find her greeting visitors with a friendly meow, offering cuddles during downtime, or just providing a soothing presence in the waiting area. Her calming energy is the perfect antidote to any pre-appointment jitters.

Fun Fact:
When she’s not busy providing emotional support and spreading joy, Meow Meow enjoys lounging in sunbeams, chasing the occasional feather toy, and napping in the coziest corners of the clinic.

At Clover Physiotherapy and Wellness, we believe in the power of a positive environment, and Meow Meow is a big part of creating that atmosphere. Come by, say hello, and let her help make your visit even more enjoyable!
